La TF-CBT y la Narrative Exposure Therapy adaptada (KIDNET) son las dos intervenciones con evidencia más sólida para el PTSD pediátrico en contextos de conflicto, refugio y desplazamiento. Metaanálisis recientes documentan efectos grandes (Hedges g ≈ 0,9) sobre los síntomas de PTSD; ningún protocolo demuestra superioridad consistente sobre el otro en comparaciones directas. La elección depende de la disponibilidad de un cuidador no ofensor (favorece TF-CBT) frente al trauma masivo o cumulativo (favorece NET).
