Prenatal and postpartum depression in fathers and its association with maternal depression: a meta-analysis

Meta-analysis of 43 studies. Prenatal/postpartum depression affected about 10.4% of fathers, peaking around 25.6% at 3-6 months postpartum. Paternal and maternal depression were moderately positively correlated (r=0.31), so a mother's depression is a marker to also check on the father.
