Systematic review and meta-analysis of longitudinal studies on bullying victimization.
Victimization prospectively predicted higher odds of depression, anxiety, poor general
health, and notably elevated risk of suicidal ideation and behavior, supporting a causal
contribution of negative peer experiences to later mental-health problems.
