Meta-analysis of 40 control-group studies testing whether couple relationship education spills over to family outcomes. Found small but significant average effects on coparenting (d about 0.07) and child well-being/behavior (d about 0.06), but not on parenting (d about 0.02, ns). Effects were larger in more recent studies and programs serving both married and unmarried couples.
