Systematic review and meta-analysis of friendship-focused interventions for children
with neurodevelopmental conditions (12 studies, 15 interventions; mainly autism and
ADHD). Pooled within-group effects on friendship outcomes were small to moderate
(g = 0.49), supporting that some structured programs can improve children's friendships.
