Parent-child attachment and children's experience and regulation of emotion: A meta-analytic review

Meta-analysis of parent-child attachment and children's emotional experience/regulation (children <18y). More secure attachment related to more positive and less negative affect and better emotion regulation; associations were modest. Frames a secure relationship as the relational base for developing regulation.
